Katie Mariah will be making a couple of appearances in Tulsa in August. 

First on August 20th, 2009 she will be at the Agora Coffee House at 4959 S 79th E Ave.  She will start performing at  730pm while you enjoy some good food and good coffee.  And did I mention the great music?  

Then on August 27th, she will be appearing at the Shades of Brown at 33rd and Peoria at 7pm.  The atmosphere is very inviting while you enjoy a cup of coffee, some local art, and of course, again, some fantastic music!

Katie basically grew up in Enid, OK where her dad was born and raised.  She and her dad did a lot of singing around the house, mostly classic rock and folk songs.  She has been writing songs since she was 12 years old.  But, her writing really took off when she spent a year in NYC, right out of high school.  She then returned to Oklahoma to attend and ultimately graduate from OSU.  She studied both music and journalism there.  You will love her style of music.  For a sample, click here.
