ONEOK Field Progress Showing in Tulsa

tulsadrillers The final steel beam for the $39.2 million ONEOK Field was hoisted into place Thursday before a crowd of about 100 people.

A potted evergreen tree was attached to the beam to signify the structural milestone in construction of the downtown ballpark, which will house the city’s Double A baseball team, the Tulsa Drillers.

City and project officials, Manhattan Co. construction workers and spectators attended the “topping out” ceremony at the site in the historic Greenwood District.
